November 20-22, 1998 The 23rd Annual Texas Toot was held this past November 20-22, 1998. If you were there, you know how much fun it was. If you weren't, we're sorry you missed it! Details of the next Toot will be posted here as they become available. Featured FacultyThe 23rd Annual Texas Toot features Ken Andresen, director of the Recorder Orchestra of New York, who will direct The Toot Recorder Orchestra in several sessions. Recorders of all sizes will be used (large recorders are especially needed), and music in a variety of styles will be played.Rounding out our core faculty are:

More Great ActivitiesFor singers, the Toot offers the opportunity to read through a variety of music in new classes such as voice & viols and 15th century Burgundian chansons with vielles and harp. Other vocal opportunities during the weekend include madrigal singing on Saturday night and Sacred Harp singing on Sunday morning.And, of course, the unbelievable, unmatchable, not-to-be-missed Krumhorn Konclave on Saturday night!
