Prices and Other Details for the 5th Summer Texas Toot June 1 - 7, 2003 Housing Toot participants will be housed in Harms Hall, the newest dorm on campus. Harms is fully air-conditioned and, as mentioned earlier, we requested the western wings of the building for our quarters, so we'll be as far from the highway noises as possible. The bedrooms in Harms are designed on the suite format, with each suite containing four bedrooms, each with a twin bed. Each suite has two bathrooms and a sitting room (with a small refrigerator). Towels and linen are supplied by Concordia. Harms Hall is located on the south side of campus. See the Concordia website at www.concordia.edu/map.htm for a graphic representation of the campus layout. Meals Meals are served in the Texas Hall, which features various hot plates as well as a salad bar. There is a new food service manager this year and he promises to be responsive to our needs and concerns. Vegetarian diets are well accommodated by the food service. A partial commuter meal plan is offered (lunches and dinners only), in order to encourage commuters to take advantage of the fellowship, conversation, and convenience of the on-campus facilities -- all valuable aspects of the workshop experience. Fees Tuition $365 per person for the week $355 for ARS, VdGSA, and ARTA members A deposit of $100 is required with registration, refundable until May 20.   Concordia Conference Fee $15 This year, there will be a $15 conference fee and a $12 facilities fee for all participants, whether staying on- or off-campus. This year, these fees will be included in your registration payments (so, unlike previous years, separate payments to Concordia will not be necessary) and the Texas Toot will be billed for your fees.   Housing $156 Harms Hall, 6 nights (Sunday through Saturday morning)   Meal Plans $110 Full meal plan (dinner Sunday night through breakfast Saturday) $78 Partial (commuter) meal plan (lunches and dinners only) Transportation Austin's Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) is approximately 25 minutes by car from the Concordia University campus. Ground transportation from/to the airport is available via cabs or the very handy Super Shuttle. If you need other assistance with transportation information, please contact us. There will be a few rooms available for those who need to arrive Saturday, May 31 ($26 per person for room only). Try to book return flights around mid-afternoon, Saturday, June 7.
